our purpose

Children grow up so fast. We here at Bearly Tawl believe that, as partners with parents, we must make the most of these formative years while we still have the opportunity to create ever so important impressions in their lives. One day they are pulling themselves across the floor on their tummies and the next day they are heading off to college.

Our purpose is to provide a safe, warm and caring environment for the children who are entrusted to our care. Our mission is to create a loving and supportive home away from home for your child, so you may enjoy a worry-free day while you are away at work. We work to fulfill the physical, social, emotional and cognitive needs of all children in our care. We believe that it is very important for us as caregivers and you as parents to work together as a team. This cooperation provides the best environment possible in which your child can grow and learn.

Enjoy your child while you can for they are truly one of life's greatest blessings. These small lives are the future of this wonderful country in which we live. We do all that we can to help them to be the best that they can be!

about the owners

Martha and Larry Baldon are both Colorado natives. Prior to opening Bearly Tawl, Martha operated a state licensed day care home. During her years as a licensed home day care provider, Martha realized that there was a growing need for infant, toddler and preschool care. Martha’s dream to help provide for that need turned into a reality called Bearly Tawl Child Care Center. Since many centers don't accept children under 12 months, Martha decided that she would start care at the age of eight weeks, continuing up through the start of Kindergarten.  Following the guidelines established by the State of Colorado, Martha and Larry set out to create a day care center that is like no other, providing child care that parents have only dreamed about!

Bearly Tawl officially opened its doors in April of 1996. From the beginning Martha, Larry, their three children and many other family members and friends helped to make and create the center that exists today. Bearly Tawl has always been family owned and operated and will remain that way. Martha is also the center’s Director, and she and Larry are available for any need that may arise. They are constantly striving to operate the best, brightest and cleanest child care center you will find.
