Our Wobbler Room is the next step after the infant facility, thus the name "wobblers.” These children are no longer infants and are on their way into toddler-hood. Ages in the wobbler room start at about one year old (and walking) through approximately 18 months. Ages here vary based on a child's mobility and readiness to advance. Reports on your child's day and progress are sent home each day.
daily activities
Children in this room are exposed to art-making in the form of coloring with crayons and painting. They listen to and make music with musical toys. They also enjoy a quiet story time with their teacher. We provide dramatic play toys. Wobblers also have regular outside time where they utilize a variety of toys and equipment to improve their motor skills. Wobblers have a separate play area outside. Toys are washed on a regular basis.
eating
We provide a nutritious breakfast, hot lunch and afternoon snack. Wobblers eat as a group in the dining area. We serve a variety of foods that have been "kid tested" and "kid approved.”
what we provide
We provide each child with diapers, wipes, blankets and bedding. Children do not share blankets or bedding. These are washed on a weekly basis or more if needed. The wobbler room is cleaned on a daily basis.
teacher/child ratio
The ratio for our wobbler room is 5 to 1. Teachers are CPR and First Aid Certified.
